A once thriving sector lost nearly 11,000 jobs during the Great Recession. Employment is still not restored to its pre-recession levels, but job growth has been improving since the recession’s end. As manufacturing jobs come back to King County, this brief snapshot seeks to capture where those opportunities lie for low-income, low-skill adults.
