Living Wages For Low-Income Job Seekers

Seattle Jobs Initiative has placed over 5,500 Seattle residents in jobs – jobs that offer living wages, benefits such as sick leave and health care, and opportunities for advancement.  How?  We partner with community colleges to offer short-term training programs in growing industries, and we maintain a large network of local businesses that are looking for qualified employees.  If you are a Seattle resident seeking full-time work, and if you meet our income qualifications, you may be eligible to participate in our program.

What are the income level requirements?
Answer -  Your income must be at or below 175% of the federal poverty guidelines.  A case manager at one of the community-based organizations we work with can help you determine if you meet the income requirements.
